❖ Community Living
We help people with developmental disabilities live in a home of their
own. We provide assistance with money management, safety, housekeeping,
personal care, nutrition and cooking. Our staff works in clients’
homes providing life-long training and assistance ranging from 24
hours a day to just a few hours each month.
❖ Employment Services
We help people with developmental disabilities find and maintain
meaningful employment. We identify skills, abilities and job interests.
We find the right job match and provide coaching on the job to maintain
job skills and troubleshoot problems to help our clients succeed.
❖ Community Access Training
We enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities by teaching
them interpersonal communication, social and safety skills that help
them succeed in the workplace and at home.
❖ Community Connections
For people with developmental disabilities who are not employed, we
provide ongoing education and skill development Monday through
Friday. We teach communication, safety skills and job skills. We give
our clients work experience through volunteer activities.
❖ Teen Transition Services
We help students with disabilities who are enrolled in high school
begin Transition Planning. We partner with the student’s parents,
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and school to evaluate prevocational
or vocational options. We work with students to identify
interests, strengths and abilities for a transition plan to live, work and
participate in the community as an adult.
❖ Teen Summer Employment
We secure summer employment for teens with disabilities that are 16
to 21 years old and returning to school in the fall. Teens are placed in
a variety of jobs and work 20 hours per week. We provide job coaching
to help them succeed while they earn a pay check and gain skills for
future employment.
